I thought the night shifts were over. At silly o'clock in the morning and about 6 hours in to the flight from Madrid to Rio, we are both having real trouble sleeping. Its not so much the noise of the aircraft or the fact that the arm rest doesn't come up or even the fact that we are infront of a seperation wall instead of a seat so we have no leg room to stretch. Its the sound of 30 people heavily snoring right in front of us in first class thats keeping us from getting a good sleep.
Mustn't grumble. I guess this is a taste of uncomfortable times yet to come. Its just that i think we would prefer to sleep rough if comfort and bliss weren't 3 feet away!
Only 1 photo so far - taken at Heathrow airport. Should have taken a photo of the airport in Madrid to be honest - the architecture there was beautiful. Ill be sure to take a photo of it on the way back if i remember.
